EVENT OVERVIEW

Since 1977, Black Contractors United has stood as a pillar of advocacy, empowerment, and opportunity for Black contractors across Chicago.

This year’s Together We Stand Gala marks not only a celebration, but a revival.

As we honor the legacy of our builders and welcome a new era of leadership, we gather community partners, contractors, industry leaders, and supporters committed to advancing economic equity, strengthening our trades, and expanding opportunity for future generations.

Together, we stand in unity to rebuild, restore, and reimagine the future of Black construction excellence.

Honoring Nearly 50 Years of Leadership & Advocacy

Since 1977, Black Contractors United has advanced equitable opportunity across Chicago’s construction industry. Our mission is rooted in advocacy, contractor development, workforce access, and community empowerment.

Today, we continue to expand pathways for Black contractors to grow, scale, and compete, driving economic mobility for families, neighborhoods, and future generations.

SUBMIT YOUR SPONSORSHIP COMMITMENT

Please complete the digital commitment form to confirm your organization’s participation.

The form collects branding, recognition, payment, and logistics information to ensure we properly acknowledge your support.

Completing this form ensures we properly acknowledge your organization across all gala materials and follow up with next steps for onboarding.

Instructions

  1. Select your sponsorship level.

  2. Add any additional sponsorship opportunities or ticket/table options.

  3. Enter your organization’s contact and billing information.

  4. Choose your preferred payment method (online, invoice, or check).

  5. Submit the form to finalize your commitment.

After submission, you will be directed to the payment page or contacted by BCU to complete the invoicing process.

 FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • Payment is due within 30 days of commitment. Invoice options are available.

  • Yes, individual gala tickets and table purchases will be available soon.

  • After completing the digital commitment form, please email your high-resolution PNG or EPS file to sponsorship@bcuchicago.com.

  • All sponsorships are final due to event planning and recognition timelines.

  • A BCU representative will follow up within 2-3 business days to confirm details, collect logos, and finalize your onboarding.
